Requiem

Eastbourne Choral Society are delighted to welcome back
Kishani Jayasinghe as the Soprano Soloist for the
evening. Kishani last sang with us in June 2006 and is currently singing at
Covent Garden. We are very fortunate to have David Butt Philip as our baritone soloist for the Requiem. David is a Richard Lewis award winner from the Royal Academy of Music and we look forward to hearing him sharing in this wonderful piece of music with us. The services of both of these soloists were procured for us by Elizabeth Muir-Lewis, our founder and Life President. We are most grateful for her help and continued support. The choir, which will be made up of ninety voices, and the soloists will be accompanied by a full orchestra. Led by Chris Phipps the musicians come from a wide area and the choir look forward to working with such a talented group of people.
